Ghost Magic- Gordemer's Second Magic Trick

ANCHOR- Ghouls, goblins, and ghost magic. This Halloween, American University Professor Barry Gordemer surprised his students by showing them a magic trick that he claimed he learned from a ghost. Carly Ferreira of Comm 200 News reports.

CARLY- Gordemer said he learned this magic trick several Halloweens ago at an internship from a mystical creature.  Gordemer explained:

CARLY- After explaining the magic trick’s history, Gordemer took out several silver, metal rings and linked them together, although they were all individually separated. It seemed impossible that Gordemer could magically bang the rings together and they would be connected. This is why many students could not figure out how the hoax worked. Brian Venezia shares what he saw.

CARLY- Kelsey Giordano, a student who held one of the silver rings during the experiment, had favorable opinions on how the trick went due to her involvement. She said:

CARLY- But while some students enjoyed Gordemer’s magic trick, others did not. Haley Walsh shares her negative reaction to what she witnessed in class.

CARLY- Gordemer’s trick may not have amazed everyone in the audience, but he still tried to bring a little magic and mystery to Halloween, after all. For Comm 200 news, I’m Carly Ferreira reporting.
