Giordano's magical moment

Spooky things are happening this Halloween! An adjunct professor at American University performed a magic trick in class today. Students were unable to solve the mystery.
Kelsey Giordano reports.

Barry Gordemer was a professional magician for 15 years. Ten years ago, he left the business.
But today Gordemer did magic again, in front of 18 students. He says his inspiration for the trick was a ghost named Carlos, who could walk through walls. Just like Carlos, Gordemer wanted to make solid objects go through each other. Carly Ferreira was one of the students who saw the magic trick.

Gordemer handed out a couple of the rings to two students. He asked them to check for anything suspicious.

The rings didn’t seem to have any breaks, but somehow, he linked them together.

The students had mixed reviews on the trick. Here are Ryan Venezia, Carly Ferreira, Aaron Marks and Haley Walsh.

Yet, the “elementary school” trick remains a mystery to most of the audience.

It remains a mystery. This Halloween, these students got more tricks than treats.
