Trick-And-Treat

One professor at American University showed his Halloween spirit by giving students both a trick and a treat at the same time.

Ben Link has the story.

Professor Barry Gordemer, a former professional magician, brought a little magic to class last Thursday.

Ryan Venezia, a student who watched Gordemer's trick, described to us what he saw:

Gordemer’s trick involved many parts and many different ways of hooking the rings together. At one point, Gordemer even asked his audience to help reveal his secret...well, sort of.

This hint wasn't very useful in helping some students, like Zoe Berling, see the method behind the trick:

Berling still enjoyed the trick, however. She told us about her favorite part:

Candy may be good for trick-or-treating. Magic is good for trick-and-treating. For Comm 200 News, I'm Ben Link.
