Anchor: With Halloween comes candy, scary costumes, and...magic tricks? Students at American University were given a spooky performance from their communication professor. Nick Tedesco Reports.
Nick: Ex-Magician Barry Gordemer pulled out several solid metal rings in front of his class yesterday. Students examined them to make sure there weren't any holes or gaps. Within seconds, Gordemer was hitting the rings together to make them connect. He did this multiple times and one student, Zoe Berling, talks about the hint he gave to clarify the trick.
But this hint did not seem to help everyone. In attendance was Jane Burnett, who also heard Gordemer's advice.
Gordemer disconnected and connected these solid rings before the student's eyes, and many of them were left in disbelief. Jane Burnett comments again with her reaction
While it would be nice to say the trick worked because of Gordmer's magical abilities- he gave a good tip that says otherwise
For Comm-200 News, I'm Nick Tedesco.
